The radio control FrSky Tandem X20S is the first Frsky radio in Dual Band, operating under the environment "ETHOS". Its internal transmitter is therefore compatible with both 2.4GHz(RXSR) and the 833 MHz (R9M). It is touch-sensitive and has an external bay of lite type, allowing the addition of a crossfire system for example.

It has many configurable switches and buttons.

The following protocols are compatible with the Tandem transmitter :

- ACCST D16: Compatible with ACCST receivers with D16 V2 or later version
- ACCESS 2.4Ghz: Compatible with ACCESS receivers
- ACCESS 868 Mhz: Compatible with ACCESS R9 868 Mhz receivers
- TANDEM 2.4 Ghz and 900 Mhz: Compatible with TD dual-band receivers
