Description

The CYCLONE XT is the developed version of its predecessor CYCLONE. With an incredible wingspan of 6.20 m, it is the giant of the sky of electric gliders!

The epithet XT means "Extended". The model has a painted fiberglass fuselage and two two-part wings with Abachi boards and a fiberglass underlay. Its new LS 6330-15 engine is designed for LiPo operation in 8S for powerful climbs and easy take-off on launch trolley.

The design of the wings, the attachment of the wings using MPX connectors and the new LS 6330-15 long shaft engine are the main characteristics of the new Cyclone XT, but also the increase in the wingspan of the wings (wing in 4 parts). The canopy latch has been moved to the rear under the wing/fuselage molding, as is usually the case for large glider models.

The profile of the HQ/W has been retained. It extends from a HQ/W-2.5/12 at the root to a HQ/W-2.5/11 in the center and ends at the fin with a HQ/W-3/10.5. This is a great way to make extended thermal flights.

The flight characteristics are excellent and quiet.
