Patch antenna, Triple Feed Patch RJX HOBBY

The antenna Triple Feed Patch is a directional antenna with circular polarization, created by Maarten Baert in collaboration with Robin Theunis.

The main design goals were:

• Good efficiency of radiation
• Good axial ratio, not only directly perpendicular to the patch, but also off-center.

• Center frequency: 5.8 GHz
• Polarized to the left or right depending on the connector used
• Bandwidth: 660 MHz (5,47 - 6,13 GHz)
• Correspondence: S11 <-20 dB, VSWR <1.22 (at center frequency)
• Axial ratio: <1,3
• Antenna Gain: 9.4 dBi
• Beam width half-power output: 55 ° (horizontal and vertical)
• Effectiveness of the radiation: 83,5%
