The antenna Triple Feed Patch is a directional antenna with circular polarization, created by Maarten Baert in collaboration with Robin Theunis.
The main design goals were:
- Good efficiency of radiation
- Good axial ratio, not only directly perpendicular to the patch, but also off-center.
Technical Characteristics :
- Center frequency: 5.8 GHz
- Polarized to the left or right depending on the connector used
- Bandwidth: 660 MHz (5,47 - 6,13 GHz)
- Correspondence: S11 <-20 dB, VSWR <1.22 (at center frequency)
- Axial ratio: <1,3
- Antenna Gain: 9.4 dBi
- Beam width half-power output: 55 ° (horizontal and vertical)
- Effectiveness of the radiation: 83,5%
Included :
- 1x Patch antenna
- 1x extension cable SMA
- 1x connector "Dummy Load" to put on the unused connector.
